The purpose of this course is to provide nurses working in the school or early childhood setting with current information about the Ebola virus. Speakers will address the current status of Ebola in West Africa and the US; the role of the school nurse in education of students, staff, families and community members; the role of the school nurse in disease surveillance; emergency preparedness considerations; and resources for the nurse.
