Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Structure an effective Quality Management (QM) program;
- Articulate a functional definition of quality upon which the entire QM program is based
- Delineate the role of leadership and management in the QM program;
- Describe the three major components of a QM program;
- Develop and/or select both internal and external indicators for assessing quality;
- Articulate the four primary methods for improving quality; Describe the role of provider performance assessment and improvement in a health center QM program;
- Incorporate the overall QM program into a succinct and useful QM Plan
