Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  1. Structure an effective Quality Management (QM) program;
  2. Articulate a functional definition of quality upon which the entire QM program is based
  3. Delineate the role of leadership and management in the QM program;
  4. Describe the three major components of a QM program;
  5. Develop and/or select both internal and external indicators for assessing quality;
  6. Articulate the four primary methods for improving quality; Describe the role of provider performance assessment and improvement in a health center QM program;
  7. Incorporate the overall QM program into a succinct and useful QM Plan
